Telstra misses the iPhone 3G?
Well, the iPhone 3G has been unveiled, it’s coming to Australia in July - and our largest, most dominant Mobile carrier is not offering it! Unbelievable!
At the moment we here is Australia have an information vacuum - the Apple website is linking to Vodaphone and Optus. Vodaphone has no info on their website and Optus has a special page where they are taking $100 advance deposits - with no information about pricing or plans!
Telstra has made no announcement, is not mentioned on the Apple website and seems to be ignoring the existence of the device. There will be, quite literally, millions of people in Australia who are with Telstra and will want an iPhone. I’m one of them.
What’s going on? How much will this damn thing cost? Can we buy it from an Apple store unlocked? Come on, you must have worked it out by now - why are you keeping us in the dark?
Telstra? Apple? Anyone?
